The mold locator is a highly precise and automated alignment and connection device installed on the end of the industrial robot arm (EOAT, End Of Arm Tooling). Its core function is to replace manual operations, guiding and ensuring that the execution tools at the robot's end (usually the mold gripper) can quickly and accurately align and lock with the molds inside injection molding machines, die-casting machines or stamping machines. In simple terms, it is like the "eyes and hands" of the robot, capable of "seeing" and "grabbing" the positioning devices on the molds, achieving precise positioning.
